Wintersday: The Wondrous Workshop of Toymaker Tixx

December 14 to January 3

The nights may be long and dark, but Tyrians of all races keep joy alive during the ancient holiday of Wintersday. While each race celebrates Wintersday in their own unique way, children all over Tyria share a common love of one thing: toys.

This year the city of Lion’s Arch will host the asuran Toymaker Tixx as their special Wintersday guest of honor. Before Tixx arrives in Lion’s Arch in his massive airship toy workshop, he’ll visit every major city in Tyria to deliver Wintersday toys and holiday cheer.

Note: the exact times the patch will be released hasn’t been specified yet.

Schedule of Events

Note: At this stage, there are NO one-time-only events in Wintersday. In the first few days, there are specific events at specific towns as toymaker Tixx visits each of the racial cities, but these then become available for replay for the rest of the event once Tixx reaches Lion’s Arch.

time unknown: 14/12 Patch	The Wintersday celebration begins! The Jumping Puzzle, Snowball fights and a musical choir event become available.
5am 16th Dec – 1 day	Tixx and his workshop visit The Grove (Sylvari town).
5am 17th Dec – 1 day	Tixx and his workshop visit Divinity’s Reach (Human town).
5am 18th Dec – 1 day	Tixx and his workshop visit The Black Citadel (Charr town).
5am 19th Dec – 1 day	Tixx and his workshop visit Hoelbrak (Norn town).
5am 20th Dec – 1 day	Tixx and his workshop visit Rata Sum (Asura town).
5am 21st Dec to end of Wintersday	Tixx and his workshop arrive in Lion’s Arch. The Toypocalypse becomes available. All events from the previous town visits are available to replay until the end of Wintersday.
