Out of the voting, the top names were:
- AUS Serenity [AUS] = 8 points
- Knights Of Tyria [KNOT] = 8 points, or [KOT] = 6 points
- Rebirth of Fallen Legions [ROFL] = 4 points
- Zaishen Vanguard [ZV] = 3 points
Two of these are the only 2 of the original list of names that do not have at least a quarter of the guild hating them. The other two were proposed as alternatives during the poll when people complained about the lack of good-aligned roleplaying names and had no hates against them at all when the vote ended, but not everyone got around to voting on them due to real-life stuff.
As previously stated, for the final vote people get to vote once and nominate their first preference, an optional second preference and an optional veto. This is a blind submission – results will be posted either after 5pm Monday when the poll closes or when everyone has voted (whichever happens first).
The veto vote is a true veto, and will be used to exclude names. The name with the least number of veto votes will be selected (even if it doesn’t have any 1st or 2nd preference votes). If there is no name that you do not want to see used at all, please enter “none” for your veto vote. Likewise, if there is not a second name that you wish to support, enter “none” for your second preference vote.
If there is more than one name with the least number of veto votes, the sum of the first and second preference nominations will be used to decide between those names (total amount of support). If this is still tied, the proportion of first to second preference votes will be used to decide between those names (priority-level of support). If the vote is still tied, we’ll refer back to the original scores as above to decide between the names (original support).
